Beginnings

The Gift® began in June of 2010. Both long-time students of Yoga and A Course in Miracles, Jeff and Gene shared a leap in awareness that led to the steady creation of The Gift. The formula they discovered (common to both The Yoga Sutras and A Course in Miracles) was so helpful for them, that they had to find a way to share it. The Gift was born.

The project began through pure inspiration with no goal other than to deepen their own understanding of the message found in these great literary works. Jeff began expressing their thoughts in writing, and later realized it was evolving into something that would be helpful to others. With each step along the way, came greater clarity and a deeper sense of the real joy and peace these texts promise. They had no desire to stop. It was impossible to go back once they began.

The Gift® is a direct path that reveals and permanently removes the problems the inner barriers to real Guidance. It teaches us to look at the blocks to our natural state of being, so that life becomes meaningful and fulfilling. The Gift®  leaves no stone unturned.

What is it?

The Gift® teaches you how to access your true power. False power can be found everywhere, but there is only one place in the universe where your true power can be found. Your mind. It accomplishes this at a pace that works for you. The Gift® is presented in a simple format that requires about 3 minutes of you your time. Each lesson is comprised of three parts. There is a study, a practice and a reflection. These are the essential ingredients to any spiritual practice. The study consists of one or two paragraphs designed to help you understand a key concept. The study is followed by a way to apply the concept to your life, and the reflection gives the student a related idea for meditation. Study, practice and reflect as much or as little as time allows. Once the seed to a better way is planted, the destination is certain.

Why does it work?

Finding true Self is impossible because it’s Who you are! The Gift® works because it provides a direct path to the problem—the inner barriers to true Self. The formula is simple. First we learn to identify the problem. It is know as the ego and it comes in many many forms. The ego is a shape-shifter of sorts. It’s foxy and constantly tricks us into its game of separation and delusion. The second step is to realize we have the power and responsibility to choose agains the falseness of the ego. While it may seem like it at the time, it never has our best interest in mind. The third piece of the formula is to rest in the truth of Who you are. Together, these three steps make up an inner process that moves you from confusion to clarity, from fear to love, from doubt to certainty.
